I’ve been wanting a new personal website for a while now. Whenever I start working on it, it always goes a bit like this:
1. I have some ideas for my website.
2. I’m going to code it myself. Easy!
3. Okay, but what code editor should I use… all my colleagues keep talking about this new, cool code editor.
4. **Downloads new, cool code editor**
5. Oh wow, look at all these settings. Hmm, I should configure these.
6. Oh neat, they have themes. Oooo, I love the retro-looking one.
7. Wait! What am I going to use to host this website?
8. Ooh this looks cool, there’s even a free option, but it doesn’t allow me to use my own domain.
9. Oh gosh, I have a lot of domain names. I should cancel some of these.
10. Oh wow, loreniscool.com is finally available. I should really buy that before someone else does.
29. I’ve turned on two-factor auth for my Gmail account. Security is so important.
30. *Yawn* That’s probably enough for tonight.
